Fire comsumes home in Gaziköy

Fire broke out at an apartment in Gaziköy on Friday night damaging properties worth thousands of Lira. 
 
The fire which was extinguished by police, fire crews and the intervention of the Ercan Civil Aviation Fire Brigade was caused by a faulty short circuit connected to a washing machine.

The fire destroyed kitchen wares, furnitures in the living room and the roof of the house.

The fire reportedly started at about 12:00 mid night.

The damage was estimated at 20,000 Turkish Lira.
