6.1 Magnitude earthquake strikes southeast of Japan
Japan: A magnitude
6.1 earthquake has struck the southeast of Japan's main island of Honshu,on Wednesday said the US
Geological Survey.
According to reports by the US geological service, the quake had a depth of
33 km and occurred nearly 400 km from the Izu islands just southeast of
Honshu in the early hours of Wednesday local time.There was no reports of a tsunami, causality or of any damage at the time of the report.
