could be about to lose one of their most gifted players, with Daniel
Sturridge angling for an exit - according to Sky's Sunday Supplement
team. The collective might of Fleet Street's finest came to the
conclusion that Sturridge is unhappy at Anfield due to his treatment at
the hands of Jurgen Klopp
and is pushing to leave the club. At his best
he's a £45m player, it was claimed, while Sturridge's dissatisfaction
with playing out wide is a big factor in his reluctance to stay on
Merseyside.
Not content with their mega-money deal for Paul Pogba,
Manchester United are lining up the biggest transfer in history... for
next summer - reports the Express, confirming rumours that 'broke' a day
earlier. Gareth Bale is Jose Mourinho's
top 2017 transfer target, according to the Express, and the club are
hopeful that Adidas would also assist with any potential signing. The
Wales international is currently contracted at Real Madrid until 2019
and the Spanish club are keen to keep him, but such a sizeable bid could tempt Los Blancos to sell
Newcastle hold out for Sissoko payday
Juventus are interested in signing Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko,
but the two clubs can't come to an agreement over the fee - reports The
Sun. The French international impressed at the Euro 2016 tournament,
boosting his chances of sealing a big move this summer, but Juventus'
£15m offer is still the most attractive offer received for the player.
The Magpies are not intending to sell Sissoko for less than £35m.
