13 killed in roadside mines in Afghanistan
Afghanistan: At least 13 people has been killed and five other people including three women and two children wounded in separate incidents in a road-side explosions in southern Helmand and Herat provinces in Afghanistan's.

"Six people, including one woman, were killed when a roadside mine struck their vehicle in remote Khanashin district,"Two civilians and five Taliban fighters were killed by roadside mines, in Shindand district of Herat, said spokesman for the governor of the province Jilani Farhad.
According to UN reports, the ongoing clashes has claimed about 1601 civilian lives and wounded over 3500 during the first six months of 2016, amounting to a record-high in civilian casualties.
