The Holy See said that Francis joins the families of victims and injured in the Sunday massacre in "prayer and compassion."
The pontiff denounces the "homicidal folly and senseless hatred".It added that;
The attack "has caused in Pope Francis, and in all of us, the deepest feelings of horror and condemnation... before this new manifestation of homicidal folly and senseless hatred".The Vatican says Pope Francis is expressing the "deepest feelings of horror and condemnation" over a massacre at a gay Florida nightclub that killed at least 50 people.
The Holy See said that Francis joins the families of victims and injured in the Sunday massacre in "prayer and compassion."
"We all hope that ways may be found, as soon as possible, to effectively identify and contrast the causes of such terrible and absurd violence," the Holy See statement added.The attack is said to be the worst mass shooting in the history of America.
