Orlando shooting: Photo of man who killed 50 people at Orlando gay nightclub

US: This is the photo of the gunman who killed 50 people in a gay nightclub in Florida. The gunman identified as Omar Mateen 29, attacked the Pulse Club in Orlando, Florida, 2am on Sunday and started shooting at the crowd, killing about 50 people and injuring 53.
Mateen a US citizen lives in Port St. Lucie.
Mateen ex-wife said he was violent and mentally unstable and beat her repeatedly while they were still married.
According to her, she met Omar Mateen online about eight years ago and decided to move to Florida and marry him. At first, the marriage was okay, but later he became abusive, she said.

“He was not a stable person,”  “He beat me. He would just come home and start beating me up because the laundry wasn’t finished or something like that.” said the woman.

The FBI said an identification was found on the body of the shooter, who was armed with a handgun and an assault rifle.
Mateen’s ex-wife said his family is from Afghanistan, but Mateen was born in New York and his family later moved to Florida.
