Chelsea ready to offload want away Garnacho
Chelsea have reportedly placed a €50 million (£43 million/$57 million) valuation on winger Alejandro Garnacho after the Argentine failed to report for preseason training, according to ESPN.
Garnacho, 22, joined the Blues from Manchester United last summer but is now seeking a move away from Stamford Bridge in pursuit of regular first-team football.
According to the report, both Chelsea and the player are prioritising a permanent transfer and are exploring potential destinations rather than having Garnacho begin preseason under new head coach Xabi Alonso.
The Argentina international has attracted interest from clubs across the Premier League, Serie A and the Saudi Pro League.
Sources told ESPN that discussions are progressing positively, with both parties optimistic that a deal could be completed within the next two weeks.
Garnacho made 22 starts for Chelsea last season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists after completing a £40 million move from Manchester United.
Chelsea have already sanctioned the departures of several players during the transfer window. Midfielder Andrey Santos has completed a move to Manchester United in a deal that could be worth up to £50 million, while academy graduate Tyrique George has joined Everton for a reported £24 million.
