21-year-old Nigerian missing in north Cyprus — Police launch search

Lefkoşa, Cyprus — Police in north Cyprus have launched a search for a Nigerian national, Bamiji Tony Omolade, a 21-year-old man who has been missing since October 1, 2025.

According to information released by the Police Press Office, an official report was filed on October 5, stating that Omolade left his residence in Lefkoşa at around 10:00 a.m. on October 1 and has not returned home since. Efforts to contact him have been unsuccessful.

Authorities confirmed that the search for Omolade is ongoing, and an investigation is underway to determine his whereabouts.

Members of the public who may have seen Omolade or have any information about his location are urged to contact the nearest police station immediately.
