Three arrested in connection with theft cases in north Cyprus
Police have arrested three individuals in connection with separate theft incidents reported in **Lefkoşa** and **Gönyeli**.
According to the police bulletin, on the previous day in Lefkoşa, unidentified suspects stole **food and beverage items worth 6,855 TL** from a supermarket by removing them from the premises without making payment at the cashier.
Following an investigation, two suspects identified as **I.K. (22)** and **A.Z. (22)** were detained in connection with the case.
In a separate incident in Gönyeli, a 23-year-old man, **A.R.A.H.Y.**, was arrested on suspicion of stealing his roommate’s bag containing **1,800 US dollars** and a **passport**.
Police confirmed that investigations into both cases are ongoing.
