Man stabs a passenger inside a vehicle following an argument in north Cyprus

Doğancı, Cyprus – A 43-year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing incident that took place in Doğancı on Sunday. 

The altercation, which occurred during a heated dispute, resulted in one man sustaining a knife wound to the arm.

According to a statement released by the Police Press Office, the suspect, identified as K.D., unlawfully carried and used a knife to injure 36-year-old Ş.K. while both men were inside a vehicle. The victim sustained an injury to his right arm.

Ş.K. received treatment at Cengiz Topel State Hospital and was later discharged. The suspect was taken into custody shortly after the incident.

Police have confirmed that an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
