4.3 magnitude earthquake strikes off Cyprus coast, felt in several districts

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded off the coast of Cyprus on Monday afternoon, the Cyprus Geological Survey Department of the Agriculture Ministry reported.

The tremor occurred at 3:37 p.m. and was felt in the districts of Famagusta, Larnaca, and Nicosia.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicentre was located in the Larnaca region at a depth of 7.6 kilometres.
