Mohamed Salah wins fourth Premier League Golden Boot

Mohamed Salah has claimed the Premier League Golden Boot for the fourth time in his career, equaling the record held by former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry.

Awarded annually to the league’s top goal scorer, the Golden Boot went to Salah this season after he netted 29 goals.

In addition to his scoring prowess, Salah also earned the Premier League Playmaker of the Season award, leading the league with 18 assists.

This marks the second time in his career that Salah has achieved both the Golden Boot and Playmaker awards in the same season. He remains the only player in Premier League history to win the Golden Boot, Playmaker of the Season, and Player of the Season awards all in a single campaign.

These accolades crown a historic season for the 32-year-old, who recorded a combined 47 goals and assists — the most ever in a 38-game Premier League season.

Salah’s contributions were instrumental in leading Liverpool to the Premier League title under new manager Arne Slot, marking the club’s first league triumph since 2020.

He previously won the Golden Boot in the 2017–18, 2018–19, and 2021–22 seasons, and recently signed a contract extension that keeps him at Liverpool through the 2026–27 campaign.
