Late scholarship applications for Spring semester open on May 13–14: TRNC Higher Education Department announces

Lefkosia, North Cyprus – Behçet Çelebi, Director of the Higher Education and Foreign Relations Department under the Ministry of National Education, has announced that late scholarship applications for the 2024–2025 Spring Semester will be accepted on May 13 and 14.

In a written statement, Çelebi said the scholarship application system (YÖBİS) will be reopened to ensure students who were unable to complete their applications earlier do not face disadvantages.

Students are required to access the system via http://yobis.mebnet.net, update their academic information, upload their transcript and Spring Semester enrollment documents, and finalize their application by clicking the “scholarship application” button.

The department urged all eligible students to complete their applications within the specified dates to avoid missing out on financial aid opportunities.
