There was 4.4 magnitude earthquake in Cyprus on Friday
There was a 4.4 magnitude earthquake at sea in the northwest of Cyprus on Friday.
In a statement by the Cyprus Meteorological Department on Friday, the earthquake happened at 11:59am.
The quake happened at approximately 135 km away from the the Hisarköy Earthquake Station.
The earthquake was recorded at a Richter scale of 4.4.
The epicenter of the earthquake was about 8 km deep in the north-west of Cyprus sea.
