Thieves in south Cyprus ram ATM with pickup truck in a bid to steal cash
Thieves in Paphos, south Cyprus on Wednesday attempted to steal cash from an ATM by ramming it with a pickup truck.
According to report by Cyprus Mail, local news outlet Pafos Press, said the incident happened
early in the morning but it appears the perpetrators failed to breach
the machine, which was located outside a convenience store on the
Kissonerga to Peyia road.
They fled the scene in the vehicle, which was found abandoned in a field some 200 metres from the scene, Pafos Press said.
It had been reported stolen from Chloraka the previous night.
