Prisoner who escaped from the Lefkosa Central Prison arrested

A 25-year-old man who reportedly escaped from the Lefkosa Central Prison on Thursday February, 14 has been arrested by the police.

The prisoner, Gokhan TAKIMCILAR, 25, who was sentenced to 18 months in prison in December for battery theft, escaped from prison on Thursday morning.

Initial report say he surrendered himself to the Dortyol police station on Friday, two days after he escaped. But a new report claims, he was arrested by the police in Lefkosa after the police got a clue of his whereabouts.
