Man jailed for stealing two bicycles in Lefkosa
Man who stole bicycles from two houses in Taşkınköy, Lefkosa has been sent to jail pending trial.
Hamdi Kerimov, was arrested on charges of stealing bicycles from two houses in Taşkınköy, on February 10.
He was brought to court again on Thursday and ordered to remain in jail for 5 days.
According to police testimony in court, the suspect Hamra Kerimov on January, 28, stole a bike worth 700TL in Sabahattin Kundak Street, Lefkosa and another bike worth 650 TL in the same apartment.
The bikes were recovered from him and used as an evidence against him in court.
An investigation into his residence in Marmara, Lefkosa exposed the unlawful possession of 1 Salcona brand, 1 Peugeot brand bicycle and 15 packaged car front and rear windows.
He was ordered to remain in detention for five days pending investigation.
