Double accident within 30 minutes apart in Lefkosa
Two accidents involving pedestrians occurred in two different districts, 30 minutes apart in Lefkosa on Monday afternoon.
According to the information released by the Turkish Cypriot police, the first accident occurred at 13:00, on the journalist Kemal Aşık Street in Lefkoşawhen a driver, Ali Kemal Piyale, 30 hit and injured a pedestrian trying to cross the road.
The second accident on a pedestrian happened 30 minutes later at 13:30.
Also, the driver, Erdinc Alp, 32 driving from Sabri Kazmaoğlu Street to Cengiz Topel Street, hit a pedestrian also trying to cross the road.
Both victims were injured in the accidents and taken to Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu state hospital in Lefkosa.
