TRNC construction sector plans big demonstration across the country if government refuse to reverse it's decision

We are planning a big demonstration on Tuesday next week if the TRNC government refused to rescind it's decision to close down the construction sector within the next five days, said the President of the Association of Construction workers, Cafer Gürcafer.

My message to the government, you have 5 days! Five days for the government to reverse its decision, said Cafer Gürcafer.

He made the comment in meeting attended by more than 1,000 businessmen and employees of the construction companies on Tuesday in Magusa. The meeting was attended by a large number of people.

You can not simply get rid of the construction sector that gives tens of thousands of people livelihood and bread, he said.
