Student accused of stealing tracksuits and shoes in a shop in Lefkosa

A student has been arrested and taken to court for stealing tracksuits and shoe in a clothe shop in Lefkosa.

The suspect committed the crime on Tuesday December, 11 and was taken to a court in Lefkosa on Wednesday.

According to police report, the accused reportedly entered the shop located at Mehmet Akif Street in Lefkosa, stole a Nike sport shoe worth 485Tl and tracksuits worth 245TL and went into the dressing room where he wore the shoe and left the shop without paying.

The court judge ordered the suspect to handover his traveling document to the police, visit the police at least one day every week and a cash deposit of 2,000TL until trial.
