Healthy dialogue can solve Cyprus problem, Turkish FM
Only a healthy dialogue on the Cyprus problem would make settlement
possible, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Thursday
following a meeting with UN envoy Jane Holl Lute in Ankara.
In a tweet accompanied by a photo of the meeting, Cavusoglu said he had stressed to Lute “that only a healthy dialogue where everybody talks to one another will make a settlement possible in Cyprus.”
On Wednesday, the UN official met with Greece’s Alternate Foreign Minister Giorgos Katrougalos in New York.
Lute is expected to arrive in Cyprus on the weekend.
