Some routes will be closed to traffic on Sunday due to rehearsal

The TRNC Police Directorate has announced that several major roads will be closed in Lefkosa on Sunday, November 11 and in Gazimağusa on Tuesday, November 13, due to rehearsal for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of TRNC.

According to the announcement, starting from 09.00am in Lefkosa on Sunday, the route between the Alpet-Altınbaş junction and the Gönyeli roundabout will be closed to traffic between 09.00.

Drivers who want to go to the New Organized Industrial Zone at the specified dates and times, can use the road in front of Altınbaş Petrol station.

Drivers who want to go to Famagusta or the Near East University Hospital will be able to reach the Near East Boulevard by following the lights by the Altinbas Petrol Station, the Industrial Zone and then the subway route north of Ataturk Sports Hall.

Drivers coming from the direction of Famagusta towards the Lefkosa city center can turn left from the Hamitköy roundabout into the architect Mehmet Vahip Caddesi and Şht. Turn left at Ismail Beyoglu Street or Tofas traffic lights and turn to Sht. Mustafa Ahmet Ruso Street or Altınbaş turn left at the junction and turn left at Kemal Aksay Street.

Drivers coming from the direction of Famagusta towards Güzelyurt direction; From the Citröen junction on Mehmet Akif Street in Lefkosa can use the Metehan - Alayköy ring road or From Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street (State Hospital) route.

On Tuesday, November 13 at 5:00 in Gazimağusa until the end of the rehearsal, the Fazil Polat Pasha Boulevard road will be closed to traffic.
