Coastal walk way opened in Lapta (photos)

A coastal walk way in Lapta, a coastal path project undertaken by the Lapta Municipality, has been completed and ready for use.

The coastal path project designed and built in three stages by Lapta Municipality began in 2006. The walkway, which covers 3.5km in total, was co-funded by the European Commission Cooperation Offices and Lapta Municipality.

A ceremony will be held on Wednesday April 25 to officially open the last stage of the walkway, funded by Turkey, at 5.30pm near Sunny Beach. 

This will be followed by a 15-minute walk on the new walkway and a reception near Silver Rocks restaurant.
