Man found dead in a car in Famagusta
A man believed to be a tourist in North Cyprus has been found dead in a car in Famagusta in the early hour of Monday morning.
According to report, the man identified as Hüsnü Deniz, 37, was found dead in a vehicle at about 12:15am at Onder Shopping Center parking spot. He is said to be sitting in the drivers seat of the car with blood on his face.
According to doctor's initial assessment of the victim, there was no indication that he was hit or beaten.
Police said a chocolates bag was found in the car. The police estimated that Hüsnü Deniz had entered his car after shopping at the market and may have died as a result of high blood pressure.
An autopsy will be carried out on the body to ascertain the true cause of the death.
It was reported that the victim came to the country on January 5 and was a tourist. Also it was revealed that the vehicle belongs to a TRNC citizen who lives in Hamitköy.
