Meghan Markle and Prince Harry set date for wedding

Prince Harry and his American fiancée, Meghan Markle has set a date for their wedding which will be held in the chapel at Windsor Castle in a ceremony that will be full of fun and joy, said a spokesman on Friday. 

Today's announcement follows earlier confirmation of the month of the wedding and its location at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle," Kensington Palace noted in its announcement Friday morning.

Details of the of HARRY and MEGHAN MARKLE'S wedding:

- Date:
May 19, 2018 which makes it a mid-Spring wedding for the couple.

- Venue:
St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, a 900-year-old castle described as a "very special place" for Harry and where the couple had spent time together during their romance. Can hold 800 guests.The last royals to marry there were Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly in 2008. Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones tied the knot there in 1999. In 2005, Harry's father the Prince of Wales had his union with the Duchess of Cornwall blessed in the chapel.
 
-The ceremony
The Archbishop of Canterbury has already signalled that the couple would get married in a church, saying: "I am so happy that Prince Harry and Ms Markle have chosen to make their vows before God." It is not clear yet if he will officiate. Markle, a Protestant, will be baptised and confirmed in the Church of England.

-What will it be like?
Few details on this yet but the couple have said they want the public "to feel part of their day". It will "reflect the characters of the bride and groom", a royal spokesman said. And will be full of "fun and joy". It is expected to be broadcast live.

-Who's paying?
The royal family will pay for the do, including church service, the music, the flowers and the reception.

-Guests
Only one confirmed so far, the Queen. But we can assume all the other senior royals will be invited.
