Girne flooded following heavy rain fall

There was a heavy rain in Girne in the early hours of Friday morning which led to serious flooding of the area affecting several residential homes and offices.

The rain which started at about 9:00am led to the flooding of many houses and offices in Karakum, Lemar, Tüsküllü region and Ozanköy, causing traffic interruptions and electricity interruptions.
