Barack Obama mocks Donald Trump for having his Twitter taken away by his campaign team

US president Barrack Obama on Sunday gleefully mocked Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for having his Twitter access taken away from him by his campaign staff who hope to minimize the New York billionaires frequent late-night social media use as the US election draws near.

Speaking at a Hillary Clinton rally in Florida, Obama joked that Trump's campaign "had so little confidence in his self-control" that they took away his access to Twitter
“Apparently, his campaign has taken away his Twitter,” Obama said.
“In the last two days, they had so little confidence in his self-control that they said, ‘We’re just going to take away your Twitter.’”
“Now, if somebody can’t handle a Twitter account, then they can’t handle the nuclear codes,” Obama continued.
“If somebody starts tweeting at three in the morning because SNL made fun of you, then you can’t handle the nuclear codes.”

Obama was referring to an article in the New York Times over the weekend that reported that Trump’s campaign team had taken full control of his Twitter account, editing tweets before posting them.
