Meet the world's most tattooed pensioners couple whose bodies are covered with over 90 per cent inkings

US: 67-year-old woman Charlotte Guttenberg and 75-year-old man Chuck Helmke both from Florida have been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most tattooed pensioners in the world. The pair have accumulated hundreds of tattoos with 91 percent of Charlotte's body covered with inkings including her scalp while Chuck has a massive 94 per cent of his body covered.

Charlotte told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she got her first tattoo in 2006 after her husband, who didn't like them, died.

“It was a life-defining step for me. I always wanted tattoos. My husband, who was deceased at the time, forbid me from having tattoos, his whole concept was that no lady would have a tattoo.

“But it didn’t stop me wanting one," she said.

Charlotte met her partner Chuck, who had his first tattoo in 1959 at the Alternative Connections tattoo parlour in Florida.

“My wife died in 2006 and in November, I met Charlotte at the end of November. I was at the tattoo studio, we started together on this journey at getting body suits,“ Chuck said.
