Instagram star urges women to ditch their bras, said wearing one 'causes breast cancer'

Educative: Instagram star Nikisha Brunson wants to help her fans prevent breast cancer after she took to the internet to addressed her 59,000 followers, telling them to lose their bras as the pressure they're causing is stopping lymph nodes from draining.

In a video, posted on her Instagram page, Nikisha explained to her followers that the pressure bras are placing on lymph nodes "is causing the disease".

Nikisha explained in the short clip, that bras are stopping the lymph nodes from draining "toxins" from the body.

 

Besides the video, Nikisha stated that:

"After 15-20 years of bra constricted lymph drainage, cancer can result.

"Singer's 'Bra & Breast Cancer' study interviewed 4,000 women in five major US cities ranging in age 30-79. Half had breast cancer."

Nikisha also noted that many females believe that wearing a bra prevents "sagging boobs" - which she claims is not true.

She also said:

"I know that there is a huge myth floating around, which I have known since I was little girl, that bras help from sagging.

"Especially for my big boobied woman, I know it helps to keep things together and out of the way.

"You want that support to prevent sagging - but it doesn't do that, it actually causes more sagging.

"Please share this video with all the lovely ladies in your life, no matter how old they are. Free the boobies!"

Nikisha's video has been viewed  more than 77,200 times since it was uploaded last week.
