Hillary Clinton makes history, claims Democratic Party’s presidential nomination
Hillary Clinton called her new status as the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee “a real milestone.”
In her speech, Clinton thank pioneers who helped advance women’s rights in America for centuries.
“There are still ceilings to break for women and men but don’t let anyone tell you that great things can’t happen in America,” Clinton said.She thanked her mother and called her “the biggest influence in my life.
“She overcame abandonment and mistreatment and managed not to become bitter or broken.”

Clinton in her speech, expressed her gratitude to women who burnt a trail for her and
her mother, who she called her biggest influence.
“(My mother) taught me never to back down from a bully, which it turns out was pretty good advice,” she said.
“We are better than this. We won’t let this happen to America. If you agree, whether you’re a Democrat, a Republican or an independent, I hope you will join us.”
“Donald Trump is temperamentally unfit to be president and commander in chief,” she said.Clinton also thanked her supporters for helping her make history.
“Thanks to you, we’ve reached a milestone ... It’s the first time in our nation’s history that a woman will be a major party’s nominee.”
