Cyprus update: Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades to be accompained by legal team during negotiation talks in June

Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides on Wednesday, said Cypriot President Nicos
Anastasiades will be joined by a legal team for his meetings with the Turkish
Cypriot leader, Mustafa Akinci, as talks between the two leaders to resolves the
Cyprus problems intensifies in June.
Both leaders
have decided to intensify their talks with a view to meet twice every week starting
from June 17.
After
failing to be elected for the seat of the President of the 71st Session
of the UN General Assembly on Monday, Ambassador Andreas Mavroyiannis will return
to Cyprus and carry on his function as the negotiator of the Greek Cypriot side
and will take part in the next meeting between Cyprus President Nicos
Anastasiades and the Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci on June 17.
