Woman teaches young woman how to double date without getting caught

A social-media post making the rounds has sparked plenty of chatter after laying out a tongue-in-cheek “guide” to juggling multiple romantic partners.

The post, titled “How to double date without getting caught,” lists five alleged rules, including keeping partners in different locations, avoiding predictable video-call routines, maintaining consistent stories, being discreet online, and even using separate phones.

The advice specifically throws Abuja and Lagos into the mix, suggesting that keeping romantic interests geographically separated is part of the supposed strategy.

The final tip—“Have separate phones, if you can”—has arguably generated the biggest side-eye, with social-media users debating whether the post is comedy, satire, or someone revealing far too much about the dating game. 👀

She wrote:

How to double date without getting caught:

1. Don’t date men in the same location. One abroad, one in Nigeria perfect. One in Abuja, the other in Lagos, very good. That’s how you do it.

2. Do not train men with video calls. Be vague. Don’t create any call routine with them. Let him know you can’t always be available for calls. That way, if you have to see boyfriend number 2, you won’t get caught.

3. Master your lies. Keep your lies steady so you don’t get caught up.

4. Don’t post them. If you’re dating multiple men, you have to be discreet. If he insists you post, make sure he’s the only one seeing it.

5. Have separate phones, if you can. That way, even if one decides to go through your phone, nothing to see.

Love yall ❤️
