US entrepreneur praises Peller and Jarvis’ wedding, plans to open school in Nigerian

American entrepreneur and supporter of Nigerian content creator Peller, Gregory, has returned from the country with more than memories from the traditional wedding ceremony of Peller and Jarvis.

For Gregory, the celebration was not simply another wedding. It was an experience that left him comparing Nigerian celebrations with those in the United States — and he did not hold back in declaring which side he preferred.

Speaking during a livestream, the American entrepreneur described the Nigerian wedding as one of the most exciting events he had attended, praising the atmosphere, hospitality and opportunity to connect with people.

“I prefer Nigerian weddings to the weddings in the United States,” Gregory said.

He continued:

“The people were beautiful and so kind. Everything was well put together. In the United States we have weddings too, but the weddings are more like laid-back…it’s like United States weddings are boring. Yo that wedding was lit. I had fun. I vibed. We all vibed. We met so many cool people and networked. United States better pick up their wedding game, I’ll tell you that.”

From wedding guest to potential investor

Gregory's Nigerian experience appears to have gone beyond entertainment.

The entrepreneur said he felt comfortable during his time in the country and revealed that he is discussing plans with Peller and Jarvis that could eventually see him invest in Nigeria's education sector.

“I feel safer in Nigeria and enjoyed my time. I’m in talk with Peller & Jarvis because I want to open a school and invest in the Nigerian educational system. Hopefully we can do it. That would be my dream,” he said.

If the proposal materialises, Gregory's visit could therefore develop into something much bigger than a celebrity appearance at a traditional wedding.

His comments suggest that his connection with Peller and Jarvis is increasingly moving from personal support into potential business and social-impact collaboration.

Why Gregory is skipping the white wedding

While he attended the traditional ceremony, Gregory said he would not be present for Peller and Jarvis' white wedding.

The reason, he explained, is a prior commitment in Amsterdam.

“I’m not going to the white wedding because I’ve got to go to a conference in Amsterdam,” he said.

Still, the entrepreneur left Nigeria with an ambition that could ultimately outlast the wedding celebrations.

Beyond the music, fashion, networking and festivities that impressed him, Gregory said he hopes his relationship with Peller and Jarvis can help create an educational project in Nigeria.

For now, it remains a plan under discussion.

But if it comes to fruition, a wedding invitation may have unexpectedly opened the door to an American entrepreneur investing in the future of Nigerian students.
