Nigerian pastor tells congregation they could become millionaires in 90 days, if they follow his teachings

Pastor Korede Komaiya has told members of his congregation that they could attain millionaire status within 90 days if they faithfully apply the principles he teaches.

Komaiya made the claim while preaching on supernatural speed, using the biblical account of Prophet Elijah to explain how he believes God's presence can accelerate a person's progress and produce extraordinary results.

The pastor went beyond the 90-day projection, telling worshippers that following his teachings could potentially take them into the billionaire bracket within six months.

“If you do what I teach, you will be a millionaire in 90 days, if not shorter. If you do what I teach, you will cross billions in six months. Look at all the good reports, look at all the good reports, look at all the good reports.”

He then framed life itself as a race in which speed determines how quickly an individual reaches their destination.

“Life is a race and in every race, speed is a determinant. Life is a race and because life is a race, speed becomes important. Speed is critical because life is a race.”

Komaiya repeatedly stressed the importance of speed, asking members to pass the message to those sitting around them.

“Speed is cardinal because this is a race. Speed is important, speed is cardinal because we are in a race. Can you help me tell your neighbour quickly, we are in a race.”

Elijah as the example

To illustrate his teaching, Komaiya referred to 1 Kings 18:46, drawing from the Amplified Classic Bible's account of Elijah's extraordinary run after the hand of God came upon him.

“And when supernatural speed answers, 1 Kings 18 46, in the amplified classic, 1 Kings 18 46, the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, giving him supernatural strength.”

According to Komaiya, the biblical account demonstrates what can happen when God's power operates in a person's life.

“He gathered up his loins, outran. When the hand of God is upon you, you will always overtake.”

He repeated the point for emphasis: “You will always overtake. The hand of the Lord was upon Elijah the prophet. The hand of the Lord was upon Elijah. He outran. Supernatural speed empowers you to overtake.”

For Komaiya, however, the central issue is not simply speed but the divine source behind it.

“But look at it. What is the anchor for supernatural speed? The hand of the Lord was upon Elijah.”

He linked Elijah's experience to three spiritual forces—the anointing, grace and presence of God.

“The anointing of the Holy Spirit was upon Elijah. The grace of God was upon Elijah. The presence of the Lord was upon Elijah.”

‘The seal that engenders supernatural speed’

Komaiya concluded that supernatural acceleration is ultimately rooted in a person's relationship with God rather than speed alone.

“So therefore, the presence of the Lord, the grace of God, the glory of God, and the majesty of God is the seal that engenders supernatural speed.”

His message therefore combined a spiritual teaching on divine acceleration with a striking financial promise: that members who put his teachings into practice could become millionaires within three months and potentially reach billions within half a year.

The claim is presented as a faith-based declaration rather than a guaranteed financial outcome, and no independently verifiable evidence was provided in the remarks to establish that following the teachings would produce such results for every congregant.
