No better candidate to lead Nigeria than Peter Obi – Stan Nze

Nollywood actor Stan Nze has reaffirmed his support for former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, stating that he is yet to find anyone he considers a better choice after watching Obi's recent interview.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor said his support for Obi is not driven by tribal or regional considerations but by his desire to see competent leadership that can move Nigeria forward.

Stan Nze stressed that his concern is not about who occupies the presidency but about electing a leader who genuinely has the country's best interests at heart and is capable of delivering meaningful progress.

According to him, the impact of governance is felt by every Nigerian, regardless of ethnicity or region, making it important to choose a capable leader.

He wrote: "I only want to see a better Nigeria. It doesn't have to be Peter Obi. I'm not looking for someone from my tribe, but for a candidate who has Nigerians at heart and can move the country forward, not one step forward and ten steps backward.

"So far, I haven't seen any better candidate than Peter Obi. The truth is that governance doesn't affect only one tribe or region; it affects everyone."

Stan Nze's comments came after Peter Obi's interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, during which the former Anambra State governor spoke on the uncertainty surrounding the 2027 presidential election.
