One-year-old baby intubated in Greece after exposure to drugs reportedly smoked by father

A one-year-old baby is currently fighting for her life and intubated after exposure to narcotic substances that the father allegedly smoked near the child.

According to information, the incident which happened in Patissia, Athens, Greece was revealed on Saturday, October 11th, when police officers arrived at the 27-year-old’s house and found the little girl unconscious. The child was rushed to a hospital, where doctors determined that she had inhaled narcotic substances, resulting in severe damage to her health.

The police investigation concluded that the father, of Egyptian origin, had used narcotic substances inside the house, next to the child, which caused her to lose consciousness.

The 27-year-old was arrested and taken to the prosecutor, while authorities are investigating the exact circumstances under which the incident occurred.

The little girl remains in critical condition, with doctors fighting to keep her alive.
