Cardi B & Nicki Minaj reignite their feud
Seven years since their most infamous Fashion Week altercation, they’re showing they still got smoke, and this time it came complete with platinum plaques, bird emojis, and wildest ABC rhymes you’ve ever laid eyes on.
It all began when Cardi B publicly announced that her second studio album Am I The Drama? went 2x Platinum. Sis shared that RIAA recognition and then dropped another bomb: that LITTLE MISS DRAMA tour is happening at TD Coliseum. Big wins, big shows.
Nicki Minaj, however, came through with a mysterious flex of her own: a photo of an eagle in flight with its arms outstretched. Now why’s that shadiest? Because Cardi’s Am I The Drama? cover art shows her wearing heels and a crow sitting on top of them.
The Barbz interpreted the eagle as “big bird energy” that’s going to come for Cardi’s crow, and the Internet lost its mind speculating.
Where others might have ended it with the eagle, Nicki reuploaded fan photos and then released a random image of three cartoon penguins wearing a zombie-esque expression. Cardi did not look impressed. She planted the fuse with tweets such as:
“The power I have.. make these btches come out of rehab everytime. Go to your fcking room.”
“Cocaine Barbie“
Nicki fired back with a rap about surgeries and Rico beefs, and Cardi kept it going with face-to-face name-dropping. Baby, this ain’t no sneak-dissing. This is a no-holds-barred drag session in 4K.
Then it really got unserious. Both women erupted clowning each other in alphabet rhymes that sounded like a cross between Sesame Street and Shade Room.
Nicki: “Abcdefgeeeee SUR GER REE TO LOOK LIKE MEEEEEE tell rat & tell J ZEEEEE RICO FRAUD & PERJURY.“

Cardi: “ABCDEFG Your man have to snatch PUSSY Pussy taste like honey comb Your bro be touching 12 year olds.”

The bars? Chaotic. The delivery? Hilarious. The memes? Endless. Twitter renamed it the “alphabet war,” and honestly, the entertainment value was through the roof.
Cardi then switched from clowning to plain facts, reminding Nicki that their careers aren’t even on the same tier:
“You been in the game like 16 years… you need to compare yourself to YOUR peers that started around YOUR time. Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Drake…those are the numbers you need to be competing wit and you can’t.”

And she ain’t lying.
Am I The Drama? hit No. 1 on Billboard 200 this week, shifting 200,000 units in its debut week with 146 million streams. Making her just one of just two female rap stars to have two consecutive No.1 albums. Period.
