Truck overturns in Esentepe collision – No injuries reported

Esentepe, Cyprus – A traffic accident involving a sedan and a truck occurred in Esentepe earlier today, resulting in the truck overturning. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

According to a statement from the Police Press Office, the collision took place when Sezen Uzmaner, 45, driving a vehicle, exited the parking area of Dima Market and entered the Girne-Tatlısu main road without due caution. In doing so, she obstructed the path of an oncoming truck, driven by 22-year-old Ahmet Tayfun Koca, which was carrying excavation material and registered under plate number HK 529.

The impact of the collision caused the truck to veer off the road and overturn onto the roadside embankment. Despite the dramatic nature of the accident, both drivers escaped unharmed.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident, which remains ongoing.
