Nine foreigners arrested in Limassol for working and living illegally in the country

Nine foreign individuals were arrested on Monday in Limassol as part of Greek Cypriot police operation targeting illegal employment. 

Among those detained, three were also found to be residing in Cyprus without legal documentation.

The operation, which began at 8:30 a.m. and concluded at 2:30 p.m., involved inspections at multiple locations, including construction sites and other workplaces across the city.

According to the police, all nine individuals were working without valid permits, while three also lacked legal residency status.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
