Nigerian national dies suddenly in North Cyprus hotel room

Lefkosia, Cyprus – The Turkish Cypriot Police Press Office has confirmed the sudden death of a 39-year-old Nigerian man, Chukwunonye Michael Oguguo, who passed away on Saturday evening in a hotel room in Lefkosa.

According to the official statement, Oguguo became unwell around 7:50 PM while staying at the hotel and died shortly afterward. 

The exact cause of death will be determined following a post-mortem examination.

Authorities have launched a formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, and further details will be released as the inquiry progresses.
