World’s tallest man visits north Cyprus

Sultan Kösen, the tallest man in the world and a Turkish farmer, is currently on a visit to northern Cyprus region, where he has already been seen posing for photos with fans.

Kösen who is recognized by the Guinness World Records, arrived in north Cyprus on Friday.

"We took our first step to Cyprus," he wrote on social media, posting a video of his arrival at Ercan Airport, where he was greeted by a crowd.

Kösen was first awarded the Guinness World Record in February 2009, standing at 2.46 meters tall. By February 2011, his height had increased to 2.51 meters.

He has held the record ever since.
