Two Indian nationals assaulted in south Cyprus; One hospitalised after stabbing
In the early hours of Thursday, two Indian nationals were assaulted in Limassol’s Zakaki area by four fellow Indian men.
One of the victims sustained stab wounds and was hospitalised.
Police said the attack occurred around 12:30 a.m. The two victims, aged 24 and 23, were walking when a vehicle pulled up beside them. Four men exited the car and attacked them.
During the altercation, the 23-year-old was stabbed. The suspects fled the scene shortly after.
The injured man was taken to Limassol General Hospital, where he received treatment for head and arm wounds. He is currently in stable condition and out of danger.
Authorities have launched an investigation, and the suspects remain at large.
