Two dead as armed assailant opens fire at Las Vegas Bellagio fountains

According to U.S. media reports, at least two people were killed in a shooting that occurred around 11 p.m. local time in one of the most iconic areas of Nevada’s casino city, prompting hundreds of people to flee in panic.

The incident was captured on video by a YouTuber who was livestreaming a walk at the time, accompanied by a woman.

The suspect appeared briefly in the footage, passing the pair at high speed, then returned into the camera's view, drew a handgun, and opened fire. Reports suggest the shooting was triggered by an earlier altercation with a woman.

At least seven gunshots were heard as people scrambled for safety. The woman seen in the video collapsed to the ground, although it remains unclear whether she was struck by gunfire.
