Car stolen near Doğanköy roundabout in Girne: Police launch investigation

Girne – A white 2005 Suzuki Swift with license plate KA262 was stolen after being parked near the Doğanköy roundabout, according to reports from Gadara Media. 

Police have launched an investigation and are calling on anyone who sees the vehicle or has information about its whereabouts to come forward.

The incident occurred in an empty lot next to Halkbank, where the vehicle was parked before it disappeared a short time later. Authorities were alerted when the owner returned to find the car missing.

The vehicle was last seen in the dirt parking area beside Halkbank near the Doğanköy roundabout. Citizens have urged local businesses and residents with security cameras in the area to check their footage and share any relevant recordings with the authorities.

The Girne Police Department confirmed that an investigation has been initiated, and Traffic Department teams are actively searching for the stolen vehicle. Officials stated that updates on the case will be shared with the public as developments occur.
