Bezos and Sanchez conclude wedding festivities with Venetian-themed party

The couple, visibly moved, greeted the crowd from the Aman Venice hotel, exchanging a passionate kiss in front of those present. Sánchez wore a striking pink mermaid-style gown before departing with her husband in a private water taxi.
Glamour, Luxury, and Pajamas
The theme of the after-wedding party was a “pajama party,” with several guests opting for unique outfits: Usher wore a long robe instead of a tuxedo, Leonardo DiCaprio sported burgundy pajamas and a jacket, and Bill Gates donned Prada pajamas. Female guests received black slippers from Amazon as gifts, while men received velvet Vibi Venezia slippers.
Oprah appeared in a shimmering bronze ensemble with feathered details, while Kim Kardashian chose a sensual look featuring a corset and garters. According to Vogue, Sánchez wore an Atelier Versace gown with a matching robe.

The Wedding Ceremony and Rings
The ceremony began with Matteo Bocelli performing “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” during which the couple’s wedding bands were revealed for the first time. Sánchez swapped her impressive 30-carat pink diamond for a 35-carat white diamond solitaire valued at $10 million.

The festivities had commenced on Thursday, June 27, with a welcome party in a private garden next to the Madonna dell’Orto church. During the three-day extravaganza, guests were treated to pizzas from a renowned Neapolitan chef, lemon tarts, and live performances by artists such as Lady Gaga and Elton John.

Protests and Cost
Despite the glamour, 700 protesters gathered near Venice’s train station with banners and inflatable crocodiles, demonstrating against the excessive nature of the events. The total cost of the wedding is estimated to be up to £40 million.

Sánchez, now Lauren Sánchez Bezos on Instagram, told Vogue shortly before the wedding: “I’m excited to spend my life with my best friend. I am the luckiest woman in the world.”
