Two tragic deaths under investigation in Northern Cyprus

Body of 26-year-old woman discovered by the sea of Gazimağusa
Earlier this morning, at approximately 9:30 AM, the lifeless body of a woman was discovered in the sea about one kilometer north of Silver Beach in Gazimağusa. Police quickly secured the area and launched a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
The deceased has been formally identified as 26-year-old Ahsen Nur Kilitçioğlu. While initial examinations at the scene did not yield conclusive evidence regarding the cause of death, authorities are reportedly considering the possibility of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing as forensic and police teams continue to gather evidence.
29-year-old man found dead in Göçmenköy
In a separate incident earlier the same day, police confirmed that a man found deceased in the Göçmenköy district of Lefkoşa was 29-year-old Daniyar Rozyyew, a local resident. According to information released by the Police Press Office, further investigation determined that Rozyyew had taken his own life.
Authorities have not disclosed additional details out of respect for the families involved. Investigations into both cases are continuing.
Police have urged the public to come forward with any information that could assist in their inquiries.
