Turkish Cypriot police call on individuals to come identify stolen items recovered in Long Beach area

İskele, North Cyprus – The Police Press Office has issued a public call for residents who have experienced theft in the İskele Long Beach area to visit the İskele Police Department and identify stolen items that have been recovered.

According to the official statement, the appeal follows a police operation conducted on Saturday, May 3, under the name “Operation Long Beach”. During the operation, a suspect was arrested in connection with multiple cases of burglary and theft. A significant number of stolen items were found in the suspect’s possession and have since been seized as evidence.

The police confirmed that the recovered items are currently being held at the İskele Police Department. Citizens who have previously reported thefts from their homes are urged to visit the department during working hours to inspect and potentially reclaim their belongings.

Authorities emphasized the importance of proper identification of the items and encouraged affected individuals to come forward promptly.
