Stolen gun, jewelry and various items seized in Iskele beach operation

A suspect who was spotted by the police during a patrol was found with burglary tools and arrested.

According to the information released by the Police Press Office, the suspect named only as HA (E-41), was spotted hiding among the trees with a mask on his face and gloves on his hands at around 1:30 am on Saturday May 3 by a police team patrolling the Long Beach area of İskele.

The police operation was carried out within the scope of the ongoing investigation “Code Name: Long Beach Operation”.

During the searches conducted in the region where HA was detected and subsequently at his residence, one 7.65 mm handgun, two magazines belonging to the handgun, a total of 32 live bullets of 7.65 mm diameter, a large amount of foreign currency and TL currency, various jewelry, and a large number of sunglasses of various models and brands, watches, alcoholic beverages, electronic devices and household goods were seized as evidence.

The items were stolen from many residences that the suspect had opened and entered in the İskele region between May 9, 2023 and May 3, 2025.

Two individuals identified only as PG (K-39) and MG (E-52), who are believed to be involved in the incident, were also arrested and the investigation was reportedly ongoing.
