Highways Department advises travelers going to new Ercan Airport to use the Aslanköy junction amid Teknofest traffic

The TRNC Highways Department has issued a public advisory urging travelers heading to the New Ercan Airport to use the Aslanköy junction, citing significant traffic congestion on the Lefkosia–Famagusta–Ercan main road due to the ongoing Teknofest event.

In an official statement, the department emphasized the importance of this alternate route to minimize delays and avoid potential disruptions.

"Due to heavy traffic along the Lefkosia–Famagusta–Ercan Highway caused by the Teknofest organization, it is strongly advised that passengers traveling to the New Ercan Airport access the airport via the Aslanköy junction to prevent any inconvenience," the statement read.
