North Cyprus increases electricity price by 11.66%

The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced that electricity tariffs will be increased by 11.66%. 

The updated residential tariffs are as follows:

-0-250 kWh: 4.8044 TL per kWh

-251-500 kWh: 9.9115 TL per kWh

-501-750 kWh: 10.6573 TL per kWh

-751-1000 kWh: 11.5519 TL per kWh

-Above 1001 kWh: 13.8069 TL per kWh

KIB-TEK stated that the new tariff will be effective starting on Tuesday, April 1.
